I am a researcher based at Goethe Universität Frankfurt. My main interest is how plastic materials degrade in the environment and the ecotoxicology of plastic degradation products (including micro plastic particles). I recently received a two year individual fellowship within the Marie Curie Horizon 2020 programme. The aim of this research is to investigate the effects of microplastics in freshwater systems.
